TEST BEFORE YOU INGEST When I first learned about muscle testing from my friend Andrea Mandel, I was amazed that we have such a biofeedback tool available to us that can determine what resonates with our own bodies. As Andrea says, "Our bodies have an inner wisdom, and this is a way for us to communicate with that wisdom." Since then, I have learned many methods of muscle testing from a variety of people, and share it with my students and clients. While muscle testing is usually done with a partner, there are self-testing methods we can perform. A favorite self-testing method is the "Sway Test" which you can begin practicing today. Kinesiology (pronounced kin-easy-ology) is a form of biomechanics which investigates and analyzes human motion. In 1964, Dr. George Goodheart, Jr., introduced the world to Applied Kinesiology which is based on the fact that the body never lies. Applied Kinesiology has become a standard for many chiropractors, nutritionists and homeopaths who use muscle testing as a means of dialoging with the body. Muscle, or Energy Testing, is the response of our individual energy systems to the vibrations of certain substances, people and even statements we make. Our nervous system is a 37-mile-long antenna which discriminates subtle frequencies that scientific instruments can't measure. While MRIs, EEGs, and CAT scans give us vital information, for more subtle feedback most professionals rely on muscle testing. In her book, Energy Medicine, Donna Eden says, "If I had the power to impact the medical profession in just one way, it would be that physicians add energy testing to their diagnostic tool kit." Donna also states that in maintaining health, knowledge is power, and suggests using muscle testing to determine what foods, vitamins and supplements we should and should not take in to our bodies. Each person has an unique energy system just like each of us has our own fingerprint. The foods we eat and the supplements we take impact each of us differently, making nutrition an individual matter. Our body resonates with certain vibrations and tenses against others, either stabilizing or stressing our system. What better way to find out what is good for our body than to test it ourselves? In the mid-1070's, Dr. John Diamond began muscle testing the positive and negative effects certain thoughts have on the Thymus Gland, which lies just beneath the upper part of the breastbone in the middle of the chest and is the master controller of our life energy. This is where we hold substances with the Sway Test. THE SWAY TEST · Stand with your feet no more than shoulder width apart. Either test barefoot or in flat shoes such as sneakers. Heels are not recommended. · Place the substance you are testing in one hand and close your fist over it. Hold this hand up to your heart center, which is your thymus gland. Then place your other hand over the first one. · State: "This is good for my body." · Become still, centered, close your eyes, take a deep breath, release it and let go. · After a few moments you become aware of your body either being pulled forward or falling backwards. If you feel yourself falling forward, your body is embracing the substance in a positive reaction. If you feel yourself going backward, away from what you are testing, your body is repelling it in a negative reaction. Sometimes we don't get a reaction or are not sure what answer our body is giving us. If you feel you are not getting a true reading, take the following steps: · Perform the test again. Make sure to take a deep breath and clear your head. · Drink water —your energy system may be dehydrated. · If you can, take the vitamins or supplements out of the plastic container and place one pill or tablet in your hand (not recommended in health food stores). · Program your body to go forward for a positive answer and backward for a negative answer. I had to do this when my body started swaying sideways! Simple tell your body "Go forward for a yes answer," and "Go backward for a no answer." Then test your body by saying "yes" and waiting for a response, then saying "no" and waiting for a response. Once your body continually sways forward for "yes" and backward for "no" you can be more assured of a true reading. Remember that since the body is electrical, energetic, physical and metabolic, it is always in a state of flux. What is good for us one day may not be as beneficial the next. And we may overload on certain foods or vitamins, creating a toxic, or allergic, reaction to our energy system. Therefore, it is best to test before you ingest at various times. Test your vitamins, supplements and other products on a regular basis, or at least when you buy a new supply. And make sure to test different brands of the same product to find which brand is best for your body. With foods, test them at different stages of processing or cooking. Although raw green beans may test positive, canned or micro-waved beans may not be as healthy. Although you can learn the Sway Test in a few minutes, it may take some practice before you feel comfortable using it. Since this method is always available, day or night, requires no instruments, and is free, you can practice it regularly with almost any product or food. The more you practice, the more instinctive it becomes. When I first learned muscle testing, I even asked my body what color clothing was beneficial for me each day! Colors have vibrations, and sometimes one color especially resonates with our bodies. And I received lots of funny looks and questions in the health food stores. I even ask my body if supplements are good for my husband before I buy them. I have since learned other less noticeable ways to muscle test. However, the Sway Test seems to be the easiest method to learn and gives people a way to instantly take control of their own health. USING THE SWAY TEST TO DETERMINE DOSAGE · Hold one capsule or tablet in your hand and state, "This is good for my body." · If you sway forward, add another capsule and state again, "This is good for my body." · Keep adding capsules, one by one, until you sway backward. Then you have exceeded the optimum dosage by one. · Also ask the body, "I take this dose once a day." · If you go forward, state, "I take this dose twice a day." · When you go backward, the previous statement that tested · positive is best for your body. REMEMBER: Your body is constantly changing, so your optimum dosage may also change. If you use this method with prescription medications, use the results to open a dialogue with your doctor. DO NOT change prescription medications without first talking with your physician. (author unknown ) |

Pigs have 'evolved to love mud'
Pigs have 'evolved to love mud'
It is a true picture of contentment, and now a scientist is suggesting that a pig's love of mud is more than just a way to keep cool. A researcher in the Netherlands has looked at wallowing behaviour in pigs' wild relatives to find out more about what motivates the animals to luxuriate in sludge. His conclusions suggest that wallowing is vital for the animals' well-being. The study is published in the journal Applied Animal Behaviour Science. It is already well accepted that pigs use wallows to keep cool. The animals do not have normal sweat glands, so they are unable, otherwise, to regulate their body temperature.
He examined closely related "wallowers", including hippos, which spend their time in water to keep cool. Dr Bracke also looked at other hoofed animals, such as deer. Although these animals do not wallow, they roll on the ground in order to "scent mark", which has an important role in attracting a mate. That analysis has led Dr Bracke to propose that mud wallowing, like rolling, could play a role in reproduction in pigs. But more fundamentally, Dr Bracke suggests the behaviour could have evolved in pigs' most ancient relatives.
For many animals, this would be too dangerous, because watering holes are ideal places for predators to ambush their prey. "But pigs, like many carnivores, are relatively large animals with enlarged canine teeth, so they would be better able to fend off an attack." So rather than pigs needing to cool down in mud because they do not have [functional] sweat glands, Dr Bracke thinks that they "did not evolve functional sweat glands like other ungulates because they liked wallowing so much". Part whale? "Pigs are genetically related to particularly water-loving animals such as hippos and whales," Dr Bracke said. He explained: "It seems to me that this preference to be in shallow water could have been a turning point in the evolution of whales from land-dwelling mammals." He concludes that the desire to wallow is probably hardwired and rewarding in itself. "If so, wallowing could be an important element of a good life in pigs," said Dr Bracke.

Creating My Day
Creating my Day
I am taking this time to create my day and I am infecting the Quantum Field. Now, if it is a fact, that the observers watching me the whole time I am doing this, and there is this spiritual aspect to myself, then show me a sign today that you paid attention to anyone of these things that I created. Bring them to me in a way that I will not expect, so I am surprised at my ability to be able to experience these things and make it so I have NO DOUBT that it has come from YOU. And so, I live my life all day long thinking about being a genius, and as I do that, during parts of the day, I will have thoughts that are so amazing that cause a chill in my physical body that have come from Nowhere .......

How to Summon Fairies
How To Summon The Fairies
Collect some Dew from the Flowers new,
Then place it on your eyelids.
Sit very quietly on a nearby rock so they all can find you.
Then Cross your toes and pinch your nose .
Take some time to Chase all your woes.
Stick your fingers in your ears.
Say I believe in Faeries.
Then wish real hard on a lucky stone, and
Feel them all surround you?

A Spiritual Conspiracy
A Spiritual Conspiracy
On the surface of the world right now there is
war and violence and things seem dark.
But calmly and quietly, at the same time,
something else is happening underground.
An inner revolution is taking place
and certain individuals are being called to a higher light.
It is a silent revolution.
From the inside out.
From the ground up.
This is a Global operation.
A Spiritual Conspiracy.
There are sleeper cells in every nation on the planet.
You won't see us on the T.V.
You won't read about us in the newspaper
You won't hear about us on the radio
We don't seek any glory
We don't wear any uniform
We come in all shapes and sizes, colors and styles
Most of us work anonymously
We are quietly working behind the scenes
in every country and culture of the world
Cities big and small, mountains and valleys,
in farms and villages, tribes and remote islands
You could pass by one of us on the street and not eve n notice
We go undercover
We remain behind the scenes.
It is of no concern to us
who takes the final credit
But simply that the work gets done.
Occasionally we spot each other in the street
We give a quiet nod and continue on our way
During the day many of us pretend we have normal jobs
But behind the false storefront at night
is where the real work takes a place
Some call us the Conscious Army
We are slowly creating a new world
with the power of our minds and hearts
We follow, with passion and joy
Our orders come from the Central Spiritual Intelligence
We are dropping soft, secret love bombs when no one is looking
Poems ~ Hugs ~ Music ~ Photography ~ Movies ~ Kind words
~Smiles ~ Meditation and prayer ~ Dance ~ Social activism ~
Websites,Blogs ~ Random acts of kindness...
We each express ourselves in our own unique ways
with our own unique gifts and talents.
"Be the change you want to see in the world"
That is the motto that fills our hearts.
We know it is the only way real transformation takes place
We know that quietly and humbly we have the
power of all the oceans combined.
Our work is slow and meticulous
Like the formation of mountains
It is not even visible at first glance
And yet with it entire tectonic plates
shall be moved in the centuries to come
Love is the new religion of the 21st century.
You don't have to be a highly educated person
Or have any exceptional knowledge to understand it
It comes from the intelligence of the heart
Embedded in the timeless evolutionary pulse of all human beings
Be the change you want to see in the world.
Nobody else can do it for you.
We are now recruiting.
Perhaps you will join us Or already have.
All are welcome

Dowsing
A BRIEF HISTORY OF DOWSING
By Don Nolan
Cave drawings were found in Spain dating back to the cro-magnum era or 40-50,000 years ago showing dowsing being used at that time. Some cave drawings were also found in Iraq depicting dowsing, some 8,000 years old. In King Tuts pyramid dowsing tools were found. There are two famous wood cuts showing dowsing being done. One is from China in 2000 BC and the other from England in 1530 showing miners looking for ore deposits.
Queen Elizabeth the 1st, of England, had German miners come to England to teach dowsing to their miners, to enable them to find mines and ore deposits they needed. Around 1630 in France there was a famous murder case of a wine merchant and his wife. The police asked a dowser for help. He tracked the man involved in the case with dowsing tools and helped solve the case. Dowsers during the 15th and 16th century were thought by some to be witches or the devil. This was brought on by churches and Martin Luther who said "that this was the work of the devil". It is known that Martin Luther's father was a miner who may have been a dowser or worked with many miners who were dowsers during this time. Many of the dowsers themselves treated their craft with such superstition and mystery that it is not hard to believe that some would think of them as evil doers. Some of their procedures for doing their work were very strange. Some examples are a stick that was used had to be cut from a certain tree on a particular day from a branch facing a definite direction. It could only be used if it was soaked in salt and could only be used once. The dowser to be successful had to were one sock of a specified color. The dowsers were called water witches. This is because many of them felt that they had to use a branch from the Witch Hazel Tree to succeed in finding water.
Dr. Karl Berg, Arch-Bishop of Salzburg, Austria in a Decree of 1942, said "If a Christian wants to do Gods will and protects himself with prayers when doing radiaesthesic works (dowsing) and use his or her instruments only in a helping way based on love, when examining houses, and finding water, then this work is blessed by the church. This helped take away the devil and witch names the dowsers were called for many years. Dowsing is known by many names through out the world. Some are divination, divining, dowsing and radiesthesia, and geobiological to name a few. Divination and divining is mentioned in the bible many times. The rod, wand or scepter is mentioned, All are tools of divination or dowsing. The word dowser could be a mix of words from different languages. Englands Henry the VIII hired a treasure finder named George Dowser who was successful and the name stuck. Many consider dowsing a sixth sense that was given to early man to survive as a species in a very hostile environment so that he could find water, food and shelter and other things necessary for survival. Dowsing is a normal sensory perception available to birds, fish, animals and man. Salmon use it to find their way back to their birthplace to spawn. The swallows use it to go south or north to return to the Mission Capistrono every year. Bees find their way back to the hive after flying from flower to flower over a distance of 2 miles or more. The monarch butterfly returns to the same tree in Santa Cruz, California from South America, three generations later. Thousands of lost cats and dogs have crossed the country to reunite with their owners. People use this sensory perception all of the time, without words or actions. We sense if we are welcome or unwelcome as we enter a room. Mothers know when a child is in trouble or making trouble. Many of us at numerous times knew who was on the phone before we answered it, or who was at the door before opening it. We all have sensed good or bad feelings about a person or situation and our feeling were proved true. In modern times dowsing is used for hundreds of things other than finding water. The U.S. military had a dowser teach the marines how to find land mines and underground tunnels of the Viet Cong. Vernon Cameron, a dowser, told Navy officials, where all the U.S. and other submarines were located by map dowsing. They would not confirm or deny his findings, but a few years later he was denied a passport because he was considered a security risk. Many countries and corporations hire dowsers to find water, gas, oil minerals and etc. Some of the famous dowsers in history: Leonardo De Vinci, Robert Boyle (father of modern chemistry), Charles Richet (nobel prize winner), Albert Einstein, General Rommel of the German Army, and General Patton (U.S. Army). General Patton had a complete willow tree flown to Morocco so that a dowser could use branches from it to find water to replace the wells the German Army had blown up.
The British army used dowsers on the Falkland Island to remove mines. Some Supporters of Dowsing: The Encyclopedia Britannica The American Academy of Science The Academy of Sciences of Paris. The Canadian Ministry of Agriculture The British Academy of Science. The British Army The Smithsonian Institution. The U.S. Marines The former Soviet Union The Government of the Netherlands
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization National Aeronautics and Space Administration Many private and public utilities workers throughout the world Well over 300 items are used as dowsing instruments. Many people can use their own body as a tool to dowse. The four most common tools used today are the Y Rod (a forked stick), the L Rod (a rod bent in the shape of the letter L), the Bobber (a long slender tapered stick), and the Pendulum, (a weight that is attached to a string or chain) or variations of all of these.
I hope this information will help to shed some light on this fascinating subject, if you would like to learn more about Dowsing, I would suggest reading "The Divining Hand by Christopher Bird, "The Divining Mind by T. Edward Ross and Richard Wright.
Don Nolan has 15 years experience as a dowser, and is the founder and past president of the Heart of Wisconsin Dowsers. He specializes in Earth Energy work, which is the elimination of harmful noxious energies or geo-pathetic stress.
